Senior Project Civil, Structural Architectural Engineer (m/f/d)

As part of Aurubis' Group Engineering Organization (GEO), you will work on strategic LargeCapex projects (∅ ≥ 100MEUR) and proactively support the respective engineering phases in the planning and construction of complex, innovative copper and recycling technology construction projects of the future.
You are the representative of the Civil,Structural Architectural Engineering discipline (CSA) in interdisciplinary and international project teams of GEO.
You are responsible for the planning of construction, building and infrastructure measures including alignment with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
You manage your projects with legal certainty in terms of quality, time and costs and with knowledge of the required construction planning and service phases, e.g. the HOAI, the EURO Code, the US Code or similar.
You review and optimize the construction planning (2- and 3D/BIM models) with regards to building and regulations and laws and in relation to health, safety and environmental targets and Aurubis standards.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you work on updating and further development of construction project management guidelines/standards in the CSA Engineering team.
You initiate the necessary tender and award preparations, critically review supplier offers (including drawings) and support project procurement in category management, e.g. by optimizing tender documents of RFx processes.
You exchange with suppliers to identify the best possible solution for the project. You are CSA’s representative in the change request process.
You monitor all construction works critically in preparation of the commissioning phase.
You tackle disruptions in your responsibility area with the aim of sustainably reducing disruption rates.
You assume a dedicated “expert role” and provide expert guidance for other strategic projects.

Изисквания:

You have successfully completed a master's or diploma degree in civil engineering, architecture, structural engineering, supply engineering specialising in civil engineering or comparable.
An additional qualification and experience in project management are a plus.
You have at least 8 - 10 years of practical experience as a project manager/engineer of major industrial projects (> EUR 50 million) in a technical environment of similar industries in Germany and international and ideally on the client side.
As you will be working with both national and international customers and colleagues, you will have German skills (min. C1+, writing and language) and business fluent English. Additional language skills in Bulgarian or dutch would be beneficial but not a must.
You have a profound understanding of chemical or metallurgical production processes and requirements.
You possess proven problem-solving skills and a high level of proactivity (in planning, organization, execution and controlling).
You have strong management and decision-making skills as well as your independent, pre-active and self-reliant way of working with Contractors/Suppliers.
You are communicative, motivated and you have the ability to do presentations in front of relevant stakeholders and external partners.
You have strong teamwork skills and interest in new tasks and challenges as well as intercultural empathy.
You are open for constructive feedback as well as willing for self-development.
Willingness to travel and flexibility for partial international deployment to a respective project location round off your profile.
You can trust in your professional experience with relevant software tools (e.g. MS 365 incl. MS Project, simulation software, ERP software, CAD/BIM.
