Administrative Support Assistant - Engineering

Join our dynamic team as an Engineering Intern and gain comprehensive insights into the multifaceted world of engineering. You will be involved in every phase of project development, from initial design to final implementation, and gain valuable exposure to project management practices and operational communications.


As an intern, you will work closely with seasoned professionals, participate in cross-functional teams, and contribute to innovative industrial solutions. This role is ideal for students eager to broaden their technical knowledge, develop practical skills, and understand the complexities of engineering projects in a real-world, fast-paced environment. The rate of pay is $20 per hour. We need candidates to be able to work at-least 20 hours per week, but can allow for additional hours based on the candidates availability.

Data Entry and Documentation: 

  • Input and maintain accurate records in databases and spreadsheets.
  • Organize and file documents, ensuring proper documentation and accessibility.

Communication:

  • Assist in responding to emails and phone calls, providing information or redirecting inquiries as needed.
  • Draft and proofread internal and external communication materials

Research:

  • Conduct research on various topics as assigned.
  • Compile and summarize information for presentations or reports.

Scheduling and coordination:

  • Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, including room setup and material preparation.

General Administrative Tasks:

  • Perform general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
