In Aurubis Bulgaria the Purchasing department is vital for managing costs, ensuring quality, maintaining efficient operations, and mitigating risks. Its role extends beyond mere buying; it encompasses strategic functions that significantly contribute to the company's success and competitiveness in the market.

Purchasing Team Lead Construction and Services

Отговорности:

• Lead the team of strategic and operational buyers responsible for the procurement of construction and service-related contracts.
• Supervise and provide guidance to the team, including training, performance evaluation, and professional development initiatives.
• Prepares and manages high-risk contracts, considering the current situation of the company and the markets.
• Analyzes, proposes, and controls the key parameters for measuring the performance of the Construction and services purchasing unit.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs, forecast demand, and develop procurement plans accordingly.
• Manages the interactions and interfaces with the corporate organization within the general corporate procurement framework.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and product specifications to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Leads “sourcing projects” (researching potential suppliers and markets, conducting tenders, comparing proposed conditions, negotiating/re-negotiating, preparing, and agreeing on contracts) in the categories managed, on global, regional, or local markets.
• Oversee the supplier evaluation and qualification process, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
• Participates in the preparation and controls the budget of the department.
• Participates or leads local/group optimization projects (capital or operational expenses) as a procurement team leader.
• Responsible for the overall management of the supplier – qualification, presentation, termination of contractual relations.

Изисквания:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience of minimum 5 years in the same or similar position within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, contract negotiation and market analysis.
• Proficient English language skills both written and spoken are essential.
• Excellent computer literacy - MS Office; experience with SAP MM, SAP Ariba;
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term goals, project management and continuous improvement practices.
• Additional qualifications in the procurement field, as well as German proficiency, will be considered an advantage.
