Einleitung
The full-time position of Quality Team Manager is responsible for leading the quality team strategy and its operational excellence in Aurubis Richmond. This includes, but is not limited to, improving service levels and lead times while reducing costs by taking control of and managing assigned areas of material acceptance and material pre-processing.

Ihre Aufgaben
Customer, business, and solution-focused leadership.
Accountable for all material acceptance and material pre-processing activities.
Interact with customers, suppliers, and auditors (internal and external).
Coordinate stock-taking activities in respective areas of responsibility.
Actively drive (continuous) improvement projects and simplification opportunities.
Coach and develop direct reports.
Key user and first level support for Quality Team Software.
Collaborate with internal functions such as supply chain management, operations, commercials, finance, HSE, and external customers and suppliers.
Promote a culture of safety and people first.
Ihr Profil
Management experience with direct reports.
Strong knowledge of e-scrap materials and its metal contents.
Experience in operating metal shredders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with ERP systems.
Proficient IT skills.
Analytical process driven mentality, with affinity for resourcefulness, and self-driven entrepreneurial style.
Education Required
Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.
Physical Requirements
Must be willing and physically able to observe and walk in a smelter environment.
Must be willing and physically able to work in varying cold and heat situations.
Could have times that are prolonged periods of walking, standing, and bending.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Ability to travel throughout the facility as required to conduct audits and make observations
Must wear all required PPE when in protected areas.
Required to reach and grasp with hands and reach with arms.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Willing and physically able to travel domestically and/or internationally if requested.
