Our department Group Sampling & Laboratory is responsible for safe, quality and environmentally compatible sampling and analysis of raw materials and intermediate products throughout the Aurubis Group. We are an essential part of our value chain, processing primary and secondary raw materials to extract high-purity metals for our modern world. Project & Process Manager Sampling and Laboratory (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • In this position, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, introducing, continuously advancing, and managing processes and IT systems for the Supply Chain department.
  • In addition, you will establish the goals with the functional division, identify optimization potential (e.g. measurable in KPIs) and parameters of the projects.
  • You will prepare and execute projects and initiatives across our international sites.
  • Furthermore, you will manage the implementation of process improvement measures together with the process owners and stakeholders on site.
  • Coaching the process owners and participants and implementing process governance for the respective functional division will also be part of this position.
  • You will introduce new processes in all companies of the Group with respect to organization, regulations, processes, KPIs, and IT systems.
  • Also, you will be responsible for the knowledge transfer between sites and for training process owners and participants about new processes.
  • You will take over technical and, if necessary, disciplinary responsibility for project employees.

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed a university degree in chemistry, metallurgy, materials science, chemical engineering or similar.
  • Additionally, you have at least 5 years of international professional experience in project management and/or in sampling and laboratory functions.
  • Good project management, change management, and conflict resolution skills are essential. You are also experienced in managing international projects.
  • You know the basics in the definition of process KPIs.
  • Your affinity for IT is high and you have good knowledge of laboratory information systems and/or lab processes.
  • Fluent language skills in English and preferably in German are mandatory.
  • You possess strong analytical and conceptual abilities combined with strategic and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Excellent communication, moderating, presenting and interpersonal skills with a high level of stakeholder management round off your profile.
