The Corporate Procurement department is responsible for sourcing all indirect materials, goods, and services. We serve as the interface between our company’s production sites and the procurement markets. We work to secure optimal procurement conditions and procurement support for CapEx projects – and to ensure that our sites are well supplied.

Group Process Manager Source-to-Contract (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • In this position, you will be responsible for the design, effective implementation and continuous improvement of the source-to-contract / procure-to-pay and the supplier management processual value chain and the related group-wide policies on behalf of the Procurement department.
  • You will take the lead in the creation and the continuous development of all processes within the respective value chain, based on the requirements of the Procurement department and its management.
  • Furthermore, you will develop and implement the governance with regards to organizational structure, company rules and processes by introducing appropriate policies and work instructions alongside the Procurement’s value chains.
  • Also, you will assist with 1st level support for the cloud-based application within the Procurement department.
  • You will transfer knowledge to and conduct trainings on new processes and policies or operating procedures for Procurement Excellence, operational teams, Procurement management as well as its key stakeholders outside of the department.
  • You will lead internal and external audits within the Procurement department, i.e. Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety).
  • In addition, you will support the Global Application Manager of Procurement Excellence in active user and license management for Procurement to utilize existing licenses for the ERP-system and cloud-based applications and maximize the benefit for Aurubis.

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed a master's degree or diploma (or equivalent) in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable subject
  • In addition, you have at least three years of professional experience of process management in procurement/logistics or IT.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in the design, harmonization and optimization of processes as well as strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with strategic and entrepreneurial thinking are needed.
  • You are eager to identify potential improvements throughout the S2C value chain and take care of its implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving, project and change management and organizational skills are important – good PRINCE2 skills are an asset.
  • You have advanced SAP skills or experience in R3, S/4HANA and Ariba Upstream modules.
  • Professional experience with process mapping tools, i.e. Signavio/Visio, are beneficial.
  • You bring fluent language skills in English and in German.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of stakeholder management should be a given.
  • You are a team player and interested in new tasks and challenges.
  • In addition, you are willing and able to self-reflect.
