The recycling of a variety of different metals is a key activity of the Aurubis group. Raw materials purchasing is managed centrally for all production sites, wherein precious metals bearing raw materials experience constant growth and growing importance. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly professional and experienced Sales Manager having a direct impact on the high-growth path of this business.

Sales Manager (m/f/d) Precious Metals Refining

Your Tasks

  • managing independently a customer portfolio and delivering profitable growth in your area of responsibility
  • negotiation of contracts for precious metal-bearing raw materials
  • developing strong and long lasting relationships with customers and internal stakeholder
  • market monitoring and performing market analyses
  • understanding of market needs and matching them in close cooperation with production areas and production planning
  • involvement in the development of the commercial strategy
  • creating regular and ad-hoc reports
  • participation in various projects

Your Profile

  • bachelor’s degree in the field of economics/engineering or a commercial apprenticeship in the area of international trade or industry with corresponding additional qualifications
  • several years of professional commercial experience in an industrial or trading company
  • expertise in the areas of metallurgy, chemistry and/or supply chain management is a plus
  • business fluent English skills
  • customer focus and a high level of personal motivation to expand the assigned customer portfolio
  • independent working style, commitment and flexibility
  • good negotiating and communication skills and assertiveness
  • entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to find creative solutions
  • outstanding intercultural awareness and willingness to work in an international team
  • willingness to travel
