Group Health and Safety Manager (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

H&S Governance

  • Further development, implementation, and monitoring the Group-wide H&S management system and standards in an overarching governance role
  • Design and continuous improvement of the Group’s H&S process landscape, including the initiation of optimization projects
  • Conduct or support internal audits and contribute to external audit activities across the Group
  • Support the establishment and integration of H&S systems at new Aurubis sites
  • Support our Aurubis sites in H&S related topics

H&S Process Management

  • Extension of H&S digital database in the Group and accordingly guidance of users
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation of all HS processes
  • Promote organizational learning and deliver internal HS trainings
  • Support transitions in roles and responsibilities, including coordinating process-related trainings with key users.

Your Profile

  • University degree in a technical or business-related field, ideally with a focus on safety engineering, plus experience in environmental or occupational health & safety management
  • Leadership or lateral leadership experience, benchmarking experience is an advantage
  • Certified auditor (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001) with proven hands-on audit experience is a plus
  • Ability to quickly understand complex production and maintenance processes, combined with high personal motivation for career growth at Aurubis
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, paired with a reflective and structured working style
  • Pragmatic, results-oriented approach with excellent communication and presentation skills at all organizational levels, complemented by a “bridge builder” mindset.
  • Fluency in business English and willingness to travel up to 40%
