Senior Manager (m/f/d) Precious Metals

Your Tasks

  • identify and develop new products and processes especially for the precious and special metal production
  • optimize existing processes/products to improve effectiveness and product quality and reduce production costs
  • lead a team of process engineers, providing guidance and ensuring clarity around priorities
  • develop and train our staff
  • conceptualize, plan, create and build test facilities
  • develop business cases, competitive analyses (flow sheets, economic efficiency)
  • act as IP responsible in your respective area
  • actively support the implementation of new productions facilities in laboratory, pilot and industrial scale
  • manage complex/disruptive technology projects
  • cooperate with universities, research institutes, external suppliers/customers
  • support the translation of strategic aims into tangible projects
  • lead basic engineering phases

Your Profile

  • master’s (university) degree or technical college degree or equivalent professional experience in metallurgical or chemical engineering or material science; doctoral degree is advantageous
  • several years of experience in metallurgy; experience in the field of precious and/or special metals is beneficial
  • profound understanding of markets in the metal industry
  • proficiency in project management (planning and realization)
  • very good MS Office skills
  • excellent command of English written and verbal; preferably a strong command of the German language
  • advanced communication skills
  • intercultural and diversity competence
  • analytical and conceptual way of thinking
