Your Tasks
- In this position you ensure an efficient and successful realization of a smaller-sized and less complex project as well as related workstreams.
- You plan, coordinate, monitor and proactively communicate relevant project milestones in the provided formats to key stakeholders (e.g. StratCo).
- You are committed to develop the professional and personal skills of your team members leveraging performance management and talent development tools.
- You directly report to the StratCo and Executive Board.
- You make operational trade-offs to accomplish project objectives.
- You take different perspectives to create solutions that are aligned with overall Aurubis strategy.
- You provide individual project members and the whole team with adequate and challenging objectives.
- You track performance, hold the team accountable for results and provide feedback.
- You enable reliable collaboration between all project stakeholders by supporting discussions, elaborating consensus solutions and encouraging others to engage and communicate independently.
Requirements
- You are educated to a degree level in business or engineering. A technology/metallurgy background is beneficial.
- You have 3+ years of project leadership experience leading projects, including management of external contractors and/or consultants.
- You have a successful track record of accomplishing CAPEX projects (min. 1 of a volume of >1M€) in time and in budget leveraging a set of modern project management skills and tools
- You have a profound understanding of Aurubis context and you are connected within the organization across departments as well as key stakeholders.
- You understand the broader context of the project and look for value creating opportunities.
- You understand operational and financial KPIs and put them into the broader project context.
- You contribute a robust set of modern project management skills (preferable acc. to Prince 2), incl. documentation and knowledge transfer.
- You possess proven moderation and facilitation skills, e.g. for working sessions.
- You show a confident and winning appearance, build a rapport with the audience, and proceed with appropriate assertiveness.
- You exhibit passion for results and willingness for self-development.
- An excellent command of German and English (C level) round off your profile.
