Manager Investment Controlling | Olen
Your Tasks
- Support the Head of Investment controlling in creating and managing site portfolio of investment projects for the sites Beerse, Olen & Berango . Align with management on priorities, timing, resources.
- Set up and manage the capex reporting, budget planning and forecasting process based on corporate guidelines.
- Evaluate investment plans in terms of economic value, profitability and return. Report and advise management on investment decisions. Monitor the project capex spending in relation to the budget, report and advise management of findings. Discuss corrective measures with the project owner.
- Ensure project quality management (stage gate control, challenging of document and assumption quality).
- Coordinate capex management process with bi-weekly capex steerco in order to ensure proper project execution and reporting.
- Actively coordinate, execute and participate during various local and group projects ranging from (finance) process improvement projects, system implementations to investment projects.
- Deliver recurring reports and analysis on results, measures, target/actual state deviations as a basis for business management to decide on corrective measures.
- Execute project controlling for large investment projects.
- Serve as back-up for the Olen Plant Controller regarding monthly financial closing.
Your Profile
- Master Degree in an economical or financial environment and similar related experience.
- Around 3 years of work experience in Finance, audit or consulting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge in SAP and reporting tools
- Analytical, critical and problem solving mindset.
- Strong project management skills (preferably with project management certifications such as Prince 2).
- Team player, good in stakeholder management and strong communicator (both in Dutch and English).
- Willing to work on the site in Olen and Beerse, combined with a good home work policy.
