Share your expertise concerning negotiations, market observation and analysis as well as acquiring new suppliers. We are looking for you at the Hamburg site as of the next possible date.
Manager Primary Raw Materials (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Preparing and executing contract negotiations
- Monitoring and analyzing the market
- Independently supporting global suppliers
- Acquisition of new suppliers
- Working in close cooperation with relevant production areas and production planning
- Participating and monitoring projects
- Taking responsibility in tracking the cash flow planning and raw material deliveries
Your Profile
- Successfully completed studies in economics or a comparable degree or an equivalent education, preferably with a good metallurgical or technical understanding
- A few years of experience in the international and/or metal commodities business
- Well versed in the use of Office 365 and knowledge in SAP is desirable
- Fluent in written and spoken business English, another foreign language preferably Spanish is beneficial
- Independent and solution orientated working style
- Very good communication and negotiation skills
