  • Develop Marketing Functionality: Lead the build-up of Aurubis’ marketing capabilities by establishing structured frameworks, tools, and processes designed for a B2B environment.
  • Strategic Positioning: Define and execute strategies that position Aurubis as a thought leader along the value chain, leveraging our expertise in sustainability, innovation, and the circular economy.
  • Integrated Campaigns: Develop and implement multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns, incorporating digital platforms, social media, industry events, and strategic publications.
  • Content Leadership: Create and oversee high-quality, relevant content such as white papers, thought leadership articles, and case studies to engage key stakeholders and enhance Aurubis’ market presence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Communications, Sustainability, and other departments, as well as senior leadership up to the Executive Board, to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Measurement & Optimization: Track and analyze Marketing performance through KPIs, using insights to optimize strategies and maximize ROI.

  • Education: Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Language: Fluent in English and German is a must.
  • Experience: 5 years of B2B marketing experience, with a proven track record of building marketing functions, driving business growth, and delivering successful campaigns.
  • Strategic Vision: Expertise in creating impactful B2B marketing strategies that align with business objectives and position the company as a thought leader.
  • Marketing Skills: Proficiency in marketing tools, analytics platforms, and automation software, with strong capabilities in campaign planning and content creation.
  • Creativity & Insight: Strong creative thinking combined with analytical skills to generate innovative marketing solutions and measure their success.
  • Agency Collaboration: Experience managing or collaborating with marketing agencies to deliver results.
  • Business Acumen: Solid understanding of commercial business operations in Metals & Mining or manufacturing, with sustainability knowledge being advantageous.
  • Change Leadership: Open to innovation and adept at driving transformative changes in a growing organization.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel internationally as required.
