Aurubis will continue its investments in strategic large-scale projects in order to further expand its core business. In this context, a centralized Group Engineering Organization (GEO) serves as the key to the successful implementation of strategic LargeCapex projects by providing the Group with expertise and improved execution capabilities. Smooth coordination between commercial, technical/operational and especially financial aspects is crucial. As part of Aurubis' Group Engineering Organization (GEO), you will work on strategic LargeCapex industrial construction projects (∅ ≥ 100 million EUR) and proactively support the respective engineering phases in the design and construction of complex, innovative copper and recycling technology construction projects of the future.

Senior Project Engineer MEP and HVAC: Technical Building equipment/Supply Technology (m/f/d)

I suoi compiti

  • You will independently develop and check the plausibility of customer requirements for technical building equipment for industrial and production properties in plant construction.
  • In our construction projects within the project start-up phase (up to ~ LPH 3/4 HOAI comparable), you will be responsible for the development, analysis and definition as well as the continuous improvement of TGA concepts, taking into account sustainability aspects for the ongoing projects.
  • You will be involved in the preparation of concept and feasibility studies.
  • You support and manage the TGA cost estimate and ensure that economical and sustainable solutions are identified.
  • You are the client's expert and coordinator of external consultants and planning teams from basic engineering to commissioning.
  • You manage your projects with legal certainty in terms of quality, time and costs and are familiar with the necessary construction planning and service phases, e.g. LBO, HOAI, DIN, DVGW, EURO Codes, US Codes or similar.
  • You represent the Civil Structural Architectural Engineering (CSA) department in interdisciplinary and international project teams at GEO and manage the coordination between the internal and external stakeholders (suppliers/planners) of your trades.
  • They are involved in internal process design and standardization.
  • They proactively evaluate the latest trends in planning, construction and sustainability.

Il suo profilo

  • You have a Master's degree in technical building services, supply or energy technology or a comparable degree, ideally with a focus on sustainability.
  • You have several years of professional experience in national and international project management for technical building equipment and/or electrical planning for complex industrial and production properties.
  • Alternatively, you have a Bachelor's degree combined with many years of professional experience in the above-mentioned field
  • You are familiar with the design and construction of economical and low-fault building technology systems (heating including steam and steam-operated heating systems, ventilation and air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems (cold water and split systems), heat pumps and the operation of associated building management systems (communication via BACNet) and sanitary technology.
  • You have sound knowledge of project management methods
  • You enjoy continuous further training so that you are always convincing with your state-of-the-art methods
  • You are well versed in the use of relevant software tools (e.g. MS 365 incl. MS Project, simulation software, SAP, CAD/BIM). Initial experience with Aveva PI system is available.
