Introductie

We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling routine and outage maintenance activities.  The successful candidate will work closely with maintenance technicians, engineers, operations and other stakeholders to ensure maintenance tasks are properly planned, coordinated and scheduled.

  • Develop detailed work plans, including labor and material requirements.  Ensure work orders are complete and accurate.
  • Develop and maintain a job plan library, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, critical task and corrective maintenance work plans.
  • Produce weekly maintenance work schedule. 
  • Coordinate Routine Outage (Shut-down / turn around) planning process.    Facilitate Post outage and Post critical job critiques.
  • Develop, monitor and update maintenance work flow metrics, such as work order completion rates, downtime, and equipment availability.
  • Own the Maintenance Work Flow (MWF) process - Process and inbound work Notifications.  Manage the Indirect work approval process, manage all Maintenance Work System Back logs and metrics.
  • Educate stake holders on Maintenance Work Flow process
  • Work with warehouse staff to optimize spare parts SKU’s and stocking levels.
  • Work with warehouse staff to implement ‘Closed Warehouse  / Bag and Tag’ parts bundling and delivery process
  • Ensure SAP PM retains complete documentation from planning through execution.
  • Support SAP SME in updating SAP Asset structure and SAP Master Equipment data

JOUW TALENTEN

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in maintenance planning or a related field.
  • Industrial shut-down planning experience
  • Strong understanding of maintenance principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of maintenance software and systems.  SAP, Microsoft project or equivalent project planning software.   
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Must be willing and physically able to walk/work in, observe and spend time in a smelter environment​​​​​​​
  • Must be willing and physically able to work in intense heat situations
  • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, climbing, balancing, crouching and kneeling.
  • May have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, in meetings or presenting and training.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Ability to travel throughout facility as required to conduct audits and/or walk-throughs
  • Must wear all required PPE when in protected areas.
  • Required to reach and grasp with hands and reach with arms.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to respond to any safety incident quickly and effectively and/or accident including First Responder duties.
  • Willing and physically able to travel domestically and/or internationally, if requested
